    Mr. Thomas A. Richardson, 76, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Livingston.
   Services were held in the Prout Funeral Home,
(www.proutfuneralhome.com) 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Saturday, January 21.
   Born in Newark, Mr. Richardson has lived in West Orange since 1961.
   He served in the Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. He was a proud member of the Honor Guard of 8th & I Barracks in Washington DC.
Mr. Richardson was a Project Manager at NJ Bell Telephone for 19 years and then at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick for 15 years prior to retiring in 1995.
    He was a member of the Marine Corps League and active in the Toys for Tots program.
    He was also a volunteer fireman in West Orange and a member of the Bell & Siren Club in Newark.
   Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife Carol (nee Holler) Richardson, his children Thomas A. Richardson, Jr., his wife Bernadette and their children TJ, Kristen and Juliette; Carolyn Dean, her husband Matthew and their children Matthew and Emily; and Nancy Chironna, her husband Frank and their children Allison and Paul.
He is also survived by his sisters Joan Lender and her husband Robert and Barbara Salzlein.
