Andre Callender now training Football and Track Athletes at Pyramid Fitness. Andre graduated from Seton Hall Prep in 2003 as a football and track star. He went on to have an outstanding football career as a running back at Boston College. He Earned All-ACC second-team honors and set a BC single-season receptions record with 76 grabs (for 720 yards) and had a team-high 13 touchdowns on the year (9 rushing, 4 receiving). Upon graduation, he finished fifth on the BC all-time rushing list with 2,971 yards.
Needless to say, Andre is our football and track specialist. He received his BS in 20067 from Boston College and his Personal Trainer Certification from the International Fitness Association. At the NFL Combine on Tue, 25 Mar 2008; He ran 10 yards in 1.59 seconds, 20 yards in 2.58 seconds and the 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds. He ran the short shuttle in 4.34 seconds, the long shuttle in 11.58 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.86 seconds. He measured a 30 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-3 broad jump and completed 16 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. Due to injuries, Andre’s career was cut short. He played 1 year as Free Agent in Canadian Football League.
