Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 7pm, Mr. Joseph Fagan will discuss the often overlooked connection of Civil War General George McClellan to West Orange. General Mcclellan lived in West Orange and conducted his 1864 presidential campaign against Abraham Lincoln from the town.
Fagan has written two books on West Orange history and currently writes a weekly article in the West Orange Chronicle that highlights different aspects of local history.
