Event Description

This February, take part in a family-friendly educational activity that doesn't cost money, is lots of fun and makes a difference. Go to WWW.birdcount.org and download checklists for your area. Follow the instructions to help you identify and count the birds in your area, or backyard feeder. This information helps us understand our bird populations and study changes in the distribution of of birds over time. This is a fun activity for everyone, and is a great way to help children learn to appreciate and understand nature.
